MEETING NIGHTS: TUESDAY,WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and SATURDAY MORNING.

 The Shirley School of Dancing was first opened in the Hawarden Institute in 1957. Classes include Ballet, Stage Tap, Modern Stage and Disco. The Annual Show is held on the main stage at Theatre Clwyd in July. The School caters for a wide age range, (3-70). Dance examinations are held in February each year and are carried out by the National Association (NATO). Many Shirley School pupils have appeared on the West End Stage. About a fifth of past students have qualified as Dance Teachers.  

             All current teaching staff qualified at the school.

We are a very friendly mixed choir and always ready to welcome new members. Although the rehearsals are structured there is a relaxed but positive endeavour to achieve the best we can perform for the next concert.  There are a number of events during the year for social fund raising which are always good fun. If you would like to join us you are very welcome. Just call me and come and have a listen any Tuesday evening. No pressure but who knows, could be life changing.
